Vegan Tteokbokki | Spicy Korean Rice Cake

떡볶이 (pronounced: tteok-bok-ki) is one of the most well known Korean street foods with tteokbokki stalls at every corner or subway station selling small paper cups filled with what is basically hot lava.

Tteokbokki is made from chewy rice cakes (tteok) bathed in a spicy, savory, sweet sauce. 🌶️

These ones are vegan-friendly by omitting the fish cakes :)
